- Are you using a Microsoft Work at Home edition that you purchased from the software.psu.edu site or have installed any other version of Microsoft Office provided by the University? Please follow Steps 1-5 below.
- Are you are installing this on a personally owned machine that has not had any University owned version of Office installed? Skip to Step 2 below.

- Install the Outlook registry fix for Office 365:
- Download/access the script:

- Office 2013 https://psu.box.com/s/j5jq3ed88rom7pq3mdqs5ffjb70dq3rw
- Launch PowerShell in Windows (see below for instructions)
- Windows 7:
- Click Start.
- Type powershell.
- Windows 10:
- In the taskbar search, type powershell.
- Now see the result Windows PowerShell which appears on the top.
- The UAC prompt may ask you for your consent.
- Click yes, and the prompt will open.
- Windows 7:
- Copy and paste code into PowerShell.
- Press 1 to install when prompted.
- Download/access the script:
- Login to https://office.psu.edu .
- Select “Install Office apps” to download a copy of Microsoft Office.
- Follow the steps on the screen.
