Why Did I Choose Smeal: There were a couple of factors in the decision. The curriculum is strong and the people are exceptional.  It’s a family. There was also a familiarity factor. I had grandparents that lived here and my family would visit them in the summer. I came up for an MBA for a Day when I was looking at schools and there were people at the church I went to who recognized me when I visited and remembered my grandparents. Also, if you live downtown you can walk to class and have three Starbucks you can visit on the way to or from class.

Favorite Memory Thus Far: I’m not an accountant, but I loved managerial accounting for how it tied concepts from other courses, history, and culture together. It’s a demanding class, but you learn a lot.
