Undergraduate Research Assistant at Susquehanna Biology

Why did you choose to pursue a MOL degree?

I chose the MOL program to expand my opportunities and put my technical background to use in a business setting. In my senior year of undergraduate studies realized that a career in research was not for me, and wanted to put my skills to use elsewhere. Finding the MOL program has allowed me to further my education and broaden my horizons.

What has been your favorite aspect of the Smeal MOL degree thus far?

Learning how to succeed in a business setting from an experienced and enthusiastic faculty.

What are your career goals and how will this MOL degree set you up to achieve those goals?

I hope to soon direct marketing and sales strategies in the pharmaceutical industry, combining my biological background with business expertise. The MOL degree has given me an understanding of financial planning, market research, and effective management skills to help me achieve these goals. In addition, the career advisors have been invaluable in my career planning and helped me effectively market my skills.

What is an interesting fact about you that we would not find on your resume?

I was a member of the Susquehanna University Football team.
