Establishing a student club is making progress
The Build Challenge will be pursued under the mission of the new student organization named: the “Net Zero club”. At this time, the club is seeking nominations for officer positions President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Deliverable 5 review is complete
Today, we received the review results for our deliverable 5. The next step is to address the review comments.
Deliverable 5 submitted
We submitted the permit set of documents successfully on Aug 2. Next step is obtaining the required permits for construction.
Solar panel donations
We are happy to announce that thanks to Kupper Engineering (https://kupperengineering.com/), and AEDG (https://www.aedgonline.com/) all of the solar (PV) panels that are needed for the house will be made available to us as donations.

Students were invited to join the team by an email that was sent recently. The team welcomes 9 new student members. Sara Jambhekar and Yash Patel created an Excel spreadsheet for the lumber material that is needed for construction and researched the cost estimate for the lumber.
Several companies have come forward with donation of materials and services.
