My name is Sommer Mitchell, and I’m the designer and instructor for GLIS 101. I received my Ph.D. in Government from the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies at USF. My research focuses on international security, legitimacy, and private military and security companies. Classes I’ve taught include Globalization, Global Pathways, Introduction to International Relations, International Human Rights, and Conflict in the World.
