This project didn’t take me too long, but there was a bit of a delay in finding the image that I wanted because of the sizing requirements. I had a lot of fun with it! I love Jimi Hendrix and with his birthday coming up (it actually just passed, 11/27) I thought it’d be a nice tribute to him.
I mostly used Saturation/Hue in adjusting each individual image to make them unique. I used the lasso tool to trace out the jacket and edited them individually to add some more color and contrast. For the background, I found a really neat repeating image and organized them to look cohesive, and then I applied the ‘Glass’ setting in the Filter Gallery. I wanted the whole purple haze vibe (for obvious reasons).
In the end I didn’t want to tamper with it too much after this, I added a little bit of noise to each picture of Jimi and that’s pretty much it!
