Mission: The Foundation supports a variety of areas, however, in the realm of developmental disabilities, the mission is to support residential and vocational programs that encourage independence for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as other initiatives that enable residential and vocational goal achievement. The vision of the Foundation is an improved quality of life and an increased self-determination through success, comfort in their home and satisfaction across varied states of their lives for individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in the Chicago metropolitan area.
Although the majority of funding opportunities are granted to local agencies some resources may be granted to other higher education institutions.

- $300,000 – Farm on Ogden – a partnership between the recipient’s urban agriculture initiative and Lawndale Christian Health Center, to create a community-based, local food entrepreneurship ecosystem to support new business development and growth in the region.
