During the Fall semester, I aimed to describe the work of a photographer, certain images, how I interpreted them, and possibly what I could gain from them. My last few blog posts of the fall, however, turned more into describing work that was both civic activism, and excellent photography.
For the Spring semester, I would like to continue to discuss photographers who promote equality, understanding and activism through their lens. To keep my blog fresh, I will focus more on a certain current or recent event, and then incorporate the photographer and the photographers work. I also found tab on Ted.com that includes 10 Ted Talks about photojournalists who use their camera to fight for social justice, which could be a starting point for some of my blog posts.
I’m also open to any suggestions!
