Fernando graduated from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA) in Argentina with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2005 he enrolled in the Graduate Program in Acoustics at Penn State University and graduated with a Master of Engineering in 2007. He later became a faculty member at ITBA, teaching in the Electrical Engineering department and managing all the acoustical activities in the university. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the Graduate Program in Acoustics. Fernando will be working with SPRAL to further study perceptual aspects of concert hall acoustics.
Fernando is an assistant professor of acoustics at ITBA and the chair of ASA’s “Spanish Speaking Acousticians in the Americas” regional chapter.
