This is my thirteenWays project. I enjoyed applying the gestalt techniques I learned to create this project concept. I applied the gestalt techniques, along with symmetry and alignment to create an overall image of the blackbirds, the mountains and the snow falling int he windows, as well as ‘blackbird’ text using the pathfinder technique used in the type art assignment from earlier.

You did an amazing job on presenting this artwork. I think it is well structured and simple to understand. I like the eye in the middle and showing the two blackbirds on the side correctly portray what is presented in the Poem. You hit all the required art needed for this particular artwork. My only critique for you piece would be to perhaps, avoid the repetitive mountains and if you could’ve added something to the bottom tiles for example circles or flying green lights. Besides that, you did a great job on portraying your artwork with your skills.
