I’ve heard so many things about the keto diet, both good and bad, so it’s really interesting to hear about your experience. I wonder if the tiredness you felt would go away if you continued the diet past the week or if it would persist. The recipe you shared looks really good though, even if you aren’t following the diet it seems like it would make a great meal!
As I read this blog I didn’t realize how carbs take up such a big portion of my diet. It would be interesting to try and limit the amount of carbs I eat.
I’ve always heard of a keto diet, but I’ve never actually understood what that consists of. It’s interesting that we are able to replace carbohydrates with fat and our body is able to keep churning on despite the lack of carbs. I’ve experimented with caloric deficit and caloric surplus diets, and I think one piece of information I’ve learned is that whenever you make quite a drastic change to your diet, it’s best to do so gradually over time-easing into the diet day by day over time.
