About Me

Hello, and welcome to my website!

My name is Stanley Wang and I am a third year undergraduate student at Penn State University. This webpage is for me to share a little bit about myself, who I am, what my career objectives are, and my future goals.

I was born in California in the city of Monterey Park, although not long afterwards I was brought to China where most of my family lives in the city of Shanghai. I had my early years education there, all the way till fifth grade of elementary school. Then I came back to California to finish my sixth year of elementary school, then middle school, and my high school education.

When I finished my high school education, I thought about a few career paths. In the end I decided to follow the trail of becoming a programmer, which leads me to where I am today, studying at Penn State University, as a Computer Science student at the engineering department. You might wonder why I chose to be in this major, and the answer is very simple. As technology becomes more and more helpful to humanity, it is starting to become a part of our daily lives. Many things we use today such as our cellphone, which contains applications like email helps communication with others a lot easier. Artificial intelligence has also begun its journey, which is improved day after day with the goal of making life easier for others. This is also my goal and objective by choosing this career. I want to utilize my programming skills that I learn throughout the entirety of the university, in order to help others and make people’s life better.

As for right now I will continue to pursue my education, and my goals for the current future is to gather more experiences within my field, and take as many opportunities as I can to continue exploring along this path. I will be also looking for opportunities to join in on some bigger projects, as I am ready to head on against new challenges.
