We were pleasantly surprised to see some familiar faces on the cover of Penn State Sustainability Institute’s annual report for last year. This photo is from our work that started last summer, focusing on creating a campus ‘living lab’ to study green stormwater infrastructure performance. Lauren appears here, along with CEE undergrad researcher Jeff Zaengle and our landscape architecture collaborators. The Sustainability Institute will support us in integration of efforts from this project into teaching and outreach activities related to improved stormwater management. If you check out the report, it highlights all the exciting sustainability-related research going on around the university, and how it helps address Sustainable Development Goals.
