One of our leading community partners in the Sustainable Communities Collaborative at Penn State is Ridley Creek State Park, which encompasses more than 2,606 acres of Delaware County woodlands and meadows. This beautiful areas is located only 16 miles from center city Philadelphia and is bisected by Ridley Creek.  Penn State Brandywine and Ridley Creek State Park are united by a desire to educate. The park itself offers curriculum-based environmental education programs which are available to schools, scouts, and other youth groups.
