Dear Climate is a website featuring current collaboration by artists Marina Zurkow, Una Chaudhuri, and Oliver Kellhammer. Zurkow and Chaudhuri are both American artists, and Kellhammer is a Canadian artist. The pictures above are examples of posters that one can download on the website.
This website includes “meditations”, “posters”, and “letters” that tackle the issue of climate change. If you can get past the shock factor, these materials provide an entirely fresh look at this pressing issue we face as residents of this earth.
The “About DC” module of the website explains the purpose and vision behind the project. The “Posters” section includes downloadable posters that address the issues in an artistic manner. The “Audio Meditations” are designed to be a play on peaceful meditations you might use to fall asleep- with a twist. The “Letters” section comprises various “letters” written to the environment about climate change. It’s a very interesting website with a fresh perspective on the issues surrounding climate change.
