I added some texture to the purple person engulfed with negative thoughts. This made the person appear more 3 dimensional. I added lighter streaks to the arms of the hands coming from the shadow. The ghostly feel of the hands was to emphasize the torment people feel mentally. There is also some vignetting to draw the viewer to the emotion provided in the image.

Bars were added to the illustration of the world in a box. I decided to add a lock as well. In addition, I added grainy texture to the land for trees, etc.

Lastly, I created a new image. After the feedback from the image with the brain, I decided to go back to the drawing board. Reminding our audience about self care was important and that is how I came up with this illustration. The idea should be reminiscent to people saving a birds with a broken wing. I decided to use yellow for the background to provide positivity. The cupped hands signify the unity carecraft.co community can  provide people who are suffering.
