Downtimes 2018

As many of you are aware Information Security is a very critical part of Student Affairs IT.  A major part of information security is to keep servers and services up to date.  This is becoming more and more important as Student Affairs grows and the amount of servers is rapidly increasing (currently at 101 servers across all of Student Affairs).  To apply most updates, require that the server or services be restarted, thus the applications will not be available during that time.  To help reduce the impact to users SAIT is providing (below) a schedule of when these updates will be applied and which services will be impacted so they can plan accordingly. Please note that all updates will happen after normal business hours (starting at 6:00 p.m.) to reduce the number of potential users impacted.  Aside from unforeseen circumstances all servers/ services will be back up by 7:00 a.m. the following day.

  • All Student Affairs Web Pages (including but not limited to the following)
  • University Health Systems
    • UHS Laboratory LIS Systems
    • UHS Pharmacy Systems
    • UHS Radiology Systems
    • DEV environment of Electronic Medical Record System
