Short Description oIMG_0813f Research:Over the past few years the study of two-dimensional nanomaterials such as graphene and molybdenum disulfide has become one of the most important areas of materials science. Such materials show potential in a range of applications from electronics to electrochemistry. To fully exploit their potentials, the chemical functionalization of these pristine materials plays a very important role. My research focus is to find a way to chemically process two-dimensional nanomaterials so that their properties can be tuned accordingly to areas in which they are required. It is my great hope that the research work that we do today can really have an effect they way people live tomorrow.
