College of Medicine, 500 University Dr., Lecture Room A ( C4618), Hershey, PA 17033

Dr. Irina Elcheva, Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology will present her research on Tuesday, October 22, from 12:00-1:00pm in Lecture Room D (C7619).  The title of her presentation is “ Stem cell models for studying normal and malignant hematopoiesis”.  The lunch will be provided.

Dr. Elcheva’s research is focused on understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms of normal and malignant hematopoiesis using mouse models and pluripotent stem cells. The ongoing research projects include hiPSCs-derived systems  for hematopoietic toxicity screens, and studies of RNA-binding protein IGF2BP1 in normal hematopoietic development and leukemia.

Please join us on October 22. We look forward to seeing you there!
