building a stem cell research  community

The Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology Program (SCRBP) is a faculty members’ initiative aiming to promote stem cell research at Penn State College of Medicine and Hershey Medical Center through educational and research programs.

Our goal is to apply knowledge in the field of stem cell biology for creating better therapies against cancer, developmental, and degenerative diseases.

 Our Expectations

  • Increase intra-institutional collaborations through faculty interactions;
  • Facilitate funding of stem cell research projects;
  • Grow as a scientific community;
  • Make stem cell research at the Hershey Medical Center more innovative, productive, and fun.
