3D Bioprinting of Living Tissues and Organs

February 28, 2020
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

College of Medicine, 500 University Dr., Lecture Room A ( C4618), Hershey, PA 17033

Dr. Ibrahim Ozbolat  lecture “3D Bioprinting of Living Tissues and Organs” will take place on Friday, February 28 in Lecture Room A (C4618) at noon.

Dr. Ozbolat, PhD is a leader in the field of 3D bioprinting. The past 12 years, Dr. Ozbolat and his team generated more than 120 original publications in the fields of reconstruction of  bone, cartilage, blood vessels, pancreas, and other tissues. A primary objective of Dr. Ozbolat’s research has been in understanding the role of 3D bioprinting process parameters on the fabrication and maturation of tissue substitutes recapitulating the physiology, anatomy and function of native counterparts. Dr. Ozbolat research has been funded by various foundations, industry and government agencies including the recent multimillion research grant award from NIH, NIDCR.

Please join us on Friday, 28 to learn about the breakthrough research in the field of reconstructive and regenerative medicine. The flyer of the event and Dr. Ozbolat CV are attached.

Lunch will be provided as usual at 11:45am.
