Hi there! My name is Caitlin, and I am a student of the Schreyer Honors College at The Pennsylvania State University. I am in a class called Rhetoric and Civic Life, and you have stumbled upon A Catch of Culture, my Civic Issues blog.

Here’s a bit about my past…

I grew up in a school district that displayed tremendous cultural diversity. Having friends from all different walks of life and being witness to such a wide array of character traits, values, styles, viewpoints, and beliefs has been a blessing in my life. I believe that a person’s personality makes himself or herself unique, and these personalities are only strengthened by a foundation of multiculturalism. I believe that multiculturalism is something that our country needs to prioritize, not preclude. And lastly, I believe that everyone should try to catch a little more culture.
