The Reflection Project…Looking at Who WE ARE

A multi-faceted four-year program funded by the Mellon Foundation, to increase a sense of inclusivity and belonging among all Penn State students through various means of engagement with the performing arts.

Engagement with the performing arts was achieved through multiple avenues including the development of five inter domain courses and nine artists residencies and performances.  Each program element intersected on the performing arts in a meaningful and robust ways both inside the classroom and out. Two additional program elements included an assessment to determine the impact of artist engagement towards reaching the program’s goals as well as the creation of a tool box for use by faculty and/or presenting organizations interested in developing a general education, inter-domain course that embed the performing arts in meaningful and robust ways. This site is divided into two sections.  The first,  The Reflection Project…Looking at Who WE ARE includes an in-depth look at the The Reflection Project…Looking at Who WE ARE and its various components.  The second section includes resources for developing inter domain courses that embed the performing arts.
