Penn State University Resources

Penn State has been a pioneer in both integrative studies as well as in the creation and implementation of inter domain courses.  The impactful integration of the performing arts into curriculum as well as class engagement was designed to build on this experience and was the primary focus of The Reflection Project.

Dr. Tom Hogan, Professor of Practice of Labor and Employment Relations and Co-Director of Pedagogical Development for The Reflection Project, developed a general educaiton inter-domain course, Virtual Transformation Leadership Development (VLTD), that exemplafies embedding the performing arts in impactful ways.  This course has met with great success **** and was foundational in The Reflection Project’s approach to assisting faculty develop new inter-domain main courses intersecting on the performing arts.  For more informnation, please see the links below.
