Project 2

2.1 Reference Reflections

2.1.1 parallel Universes

In the chapter 5, we were introduced to the term volume. volume is formed by a couple of pane. Things with curve and height Will create a volumetric to the object. Also, more detailed texture will create more three dimensional feel, like relief. Further or style like installation who is used by artist to create authentic works.

In the chapter 8, there are a lot of Visual principles that were used behind a lot of art works. In specific, Economy, which is a term that means to use less element as possible to create a complete work. And Pattern, which is use repeated element, to create a Rhythm and progression.

In the chapter 13, it mentioned a interesting concept that is projection. The idea of projection somehow corelated to the dimensional of ours. What we see things in the 3D way is the projection from 4D, just like what we see things in 2D is the projection from 3D. Artists back then use a set of tool to recreate the real world on to the canvas. By using different angle, views and objected are aligned in a different way.

It mentioned that there are games used this idea to create there world, just like the Monument Valley.

2.1.2 Linked In Learning

This part gives us a video course to start learning the function of Fusion 360 and how to format in Adobe illustrator to make the laser cut work.
