Plane To Volume
In this project, we are exploring ways to make 3d models through 3d printing. After completing you use visual principles of composition to create digital 3D artwork. Manipulate algorithmic expressions of geometry to create highly realistic forms. Work with a 3D printer to create a high-quality prototype of your model. It talks about many things with an emphasis on unity. This was very interesting to me because the idea of unity is that the viewer interprets completeness even without things added or taken away.
LinkedIn Learning tutorials | Meshmixer, 3D Printing, and 3D Scanning
LinkedIn Learning I completed several tutorials, with Rapid Prototyping for Productive Design being the first. I gained more knowledge about 3D scanning and printing from this tutorial. Meshmixer Essential Training was the following tutorial. The overview of Meshmixer in this tutorial focused on how to assess, correct, and work with many objects.
Plane To Volume Alternate Realities
I was introduced to Realism, Surrealism, Photorealism, Hyperrealism, CGI, and more. I have heard of some of the terms in this wiki, especially with CGI in movies, so it helped me a little bit to understand the concepts. What really was interesting is that is virtual reality it a concept I’m familiar with since there a lot of VR headsets and virtual reality games.
