In this exercise, the wiki shows mini workflows to create these extrusions in Fusion 360. Extrusion is really simple it is just like extruding a face to have offset sides. This project, at first I thought it would be rather difficult but they once I read the wiki and started experimenting with different tools, it was a simple exercise the models are very clean-cut examples of each operation. The extruded object has a taper on it and the revolved object had a cylinder cut out of the center, but that’s about all. Overall these objects were easy to create but it helped me learn a new way of modeling techniques in the Fusion 360 software. This is always a good thing since I don’t really use Fusion 360 that often. I had not used any of these operations except extrude before this assignment. For people who use fusion 360 for the first time modeling, they may find it difficult to get the concept of using a different tool and create sketches and models just based on the wiki.
The wiki asks us to create our own versions of the method using the workflows as inspiration or a guide. Below show my model for this project.
