I found this post to be informative and well executed. I think you did an excellent job detailing why businesses need lawyers. Anyone can google federal and state employment laws, but the judgment involved in planning around conflicts is where legal professionals bring value.

This is a really well-written post. It’s easy to tell that you took the time to put thought into it, and really consider a lot of the aspects that a company policy entails. I especially liked the part where you pointed out that such a policy would standardize a workplace, making it harder to discriminate against an individual employee for unethical reasons – no business wants a discrimination claim on their hands!
