  • All of Mo’s current graduate students (Scott Emrich, Martin Johnson, and Ryan Yoast) were awarded the 2018 Howard Morgan Travel Award from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology at Penn State College of Medicine. They used their awards to travel to the FASEB Science Research Conference on “Calcium and Cell Function.”

  • Céline Delierneux joined the lab in July 2017 as a postdoctoral fellow. Céline received her PhD from the University of Liege, Belgium (Mo’s alma matter)
  • Two Biomedical Sciences (BMS) PhD students, Ryan Yoast and Scott Emrich officially joined the lab in July 2017
  • Alex Caplan joined the lab in June 2017 as a research Technician. Alex graduated from West Chester University. His goal is to acquire research experience and pursue medical school studies
  • The lab has moved to newly renovated space on the 4th floor in room C4752. Mo’s office remains in C4710C
  • Mo will give a talk at the 2017  Federation of European Physiological Societies (FEPS) Meeting that will take place in Vienna, Austria between September 13-15, 2017.
  • Along with Anant Parekh (chair) and Gary Bird (co-vice chair), Mo is a co-organizer of the 2017 Gordon Research Conference on Calcium signaling that will take place in Barga (near Lucca) in Tuscany, Italy on June 18-23, 2017. See the exciting program on the GRC website.
