What is the most important thing you have learned in this course? How do you feel about it?

I have a few things that are important to me from this class. I really appreciate the formal view of change management and OD approach. I  feel more prepared to support and engage in OD initiative as a participant and a consultant. Specifically the clarity during the pre-launch and the contracting phase are of value to me. I want to get clarity on what the true objective is, the scope of the initiative, and the measurements of success. The basics of the ARM are foundational and are available t build upon.

 

The tool that connects to my overall approach to work is the appreciative inquiry model. I LOVE the idea of building on someone’s strengths and seeing the best they have to offer. Appreciative inquiry honors the value in each individual and gives them a place to grow, rather than be coerced into changing.
