Bots Will Cost Thousands
There is a growing need for cybersecurity professionals. According to Forbes, “about 47 percent of c-suite executives claim their company experienced a cyberattack”. Companies have an increasing need to be able to deal with these attacks on company data. “Bad” bots are proving to be an increasing problem in the industry, potentially stealing millions of dollars a day in fraudulent behavior. It’s important that companies stay up to date on practices to manage with these growing attacks and that staff are being trained to deal with them.
Intelligent Authentication is the way to go
Issuing new technologies may be the best way to deal with the problem. In another article written by KPMG, an advising and accounting firm, intelligent authentication is a developing tool to protect accounts from fraudulent behavior by using technology to verify identities. Methods in question to be used include, facial scans, keystroke patterns, etc. This method, known as “intelligent authentication”, could be the solution to cutting costs, increasing ease of verification, and saving companies millions.
