My design work revolves around designing and developing web applications and mobile applications. My inspirations often come from industrial design icons such as Jonny Ive, James Dyson and world-famous architects like Frank Gehry and Ben Van Berkel. Having studied these figures, my work draws inspiration and revolves around the ideas of minimalism, sharp edges, complex geometric figures, and toned down colors. I also draw inspiration from Apple’s and Google’s design languages used in their mobile and desktop platforms like material design, glassmorphism, and neumorphism.
What makes a good design for me, especially in web and mobile design, is accessibility, ease of use, and modern and clean design. People of all ages should be able to start using software with little to no guidance. That is precisely what I strive for when designing and developing my projects. For me, the most exciting thing is when new users use my software for the first time and do not ask me a single question about how to use certain features and achieve specific tasks.
