Curtin Road

Curtin Road is one of the busiest streets on Penn State’s campus. Rec Hall, Pattee and Paterno Libraries, Palmer Museum of Art, Berkey Creamery, East Halls, Intramural gym building, Bryce Jordan Center and Beaver Stadium are all connected through Curtin Rd and most bus routes have stops up and down this iconic street.

Some cherry trees have begun blossoming in front of the Kern Grad building, where I had my MIS 204 lectures last Fall. I remember meeting a random Brazilian girl while talking to my friend Barb(also Brazilian) in Portuguese while in line at the Panera inside Kern one day.

The day I took some of these pictures I came upon a fellow student in full ice hockey equipment skating down Curtin in the middle of the road. I’m upset I didn’t register that moment in a picture but I was simply so surprised about what I was witnessing that I couldn’t do much more besides grinning and smiling in shock.
