Gaming For All
We believe that video games are for everyone. Whether you’re a hardcore competitive gamer, just play mobile games in your spare time, or haven’t really played since your childhood console – there is a place for you in the VGC@WC. We know as an online or distance learning student, it can be hard to connect with other students. That’s why we set out to form an organization that focuses on the powerful bonding experience that gaming creates.

Current Officers
Ash Schultz
President
Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Information Science and Technology – Design and Development
Never afraid to mix both business and fun, Ash looks at the video game medium from the dual perspectives of entertainment and computer science. Ash has a soft spot for virtual pet games, indie games, and simulation strategy games. As a computer scientist, some of Ash’s interests include creating new approaches to increasing tech literacy, the culture that forms in different online communities, the application of video games in an educational context, and the practical applications of augmented reality. Ash once referred to Pokémon Go as – “basically, the future” – and then proceeded to miss catching a Shiny Pikachu. Ash is also a member of the Technology Club, the Blue and White Society, and Pride World Campus. In 2019, Ash graduated cum laude from Bucks County Community College with an Associate’s in Information Science. Also pictured: Jack the Siamese Cat.

Andres Alexander Peña
Treasurer
Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting
Andres has been a passionate gamer since the good ol’ days of the Nintendo 64. Andres believes that video games are the ultimate form of art and that everyone would benefit from playing video games. You can find Andres playing all sorts of video games, but he is usually playing a role-playing game or a shooter, especially story driven ones. He could not decide which is his favorite game of all time, but he considers Bloodborne, The Witcher III, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to be up there on the list. Fun Fact: Andres is an identical twin and his parents were so creative that they decided to name him Andres Alexander Peña while naming his twin brother Alexander Andres Peña.
