Last time I decided on what concept I was going to approach this project with, and now I have come up with what might be the final design for this project. So I decided to continue with the idea of placing the V right along the side of the D. For this post I mainly focused on the font for the letters, and I tried to keep it simple and to the point instead of using some crazy font that might get out of hand. I tried to find a thick looking font, and I came across Avenir as my font by recommendation. Once I had my initials in the correct font I lined up the letters into the correct spot and began to edit the letters. This had to be done or else I would have several overlapping lines and it would otherwise look sloppy if it wasn’t fixed up. I had multiple crossing lines in this concept because I merged both letters to create a color separation between the two. Rather than just looking like two solid letters together I tried to separate them in a way, which seemed to work.
