Illustrating a Noun:

The word I choose was car because I love fast cars, so I decided to use it in this assignment. I absolutely had fun experimenting and playing around with all the typefaces on dafont.com. I see many options how fonts can create different effects, feelings and impacts on the viewers. The type faces used are Renegade, Nero and magneto.

Among all the fonts my favorite is the last one because it looks like skid mark left but a car doing a burnout. It have a very exciting and exhilarating feel to it. In the second picture  the font is very rectangular and looks organized and the letters are connected making it feel very close and high tech (like an action movie title). The first picture is a complete opposite of the other to its curvy and smooth making it very soothing to the eyes  and it make me feel relaxed.

I really had fun experimenting and playing around with my resume. I have learned a lot of new techniques and skills on how to alleviate and ameliorate my resume to be more appealing  to the viewers.

It took me a will to get use to Adobe illustrator. But after messing around with it I finnal got a hang of it (the video lectures really helped).

The first thing I decided to do was to change the design and arrangement of my resume to be more alluring to the viewers. I used two fonts in the new design of my resume; Trajan Pro 3 for headings and my name and times new roman for the text. I chose a light blueish violet background because it is pleasing to eyes. I chose to put my name in big font at the top so to attract instant attention additionally its dark blue which make it stand out. I chose be playful with the colors for the headings, implementing many shades of colors to make my resume stand out. I put my local and permanent address in little boxes to make it easier to find them. And finally I put my sport and awards in a big star to make them stand out. All in all I tried to be playful and creative with the font and colors and I can say that I am satisfied with my final work.
