The new undergraduate bulletin website is live, http://undergraduate.bulletins.psu.edu/.

The Course Catalog in LionPATH is now the official source of course information for the University. This is the only change to the Bulletins at this point. The following steps will be taken, effective November 1, to redirect links to course information in the undergraduate and graduate University Bulletins to the Course Catalog in LionPATH :

–Visitors to the undergraduate and graduate Bulletins home pages will be advised that “Course descriptions are stored in LionPATH, the University-wide student information system. Please visit the LionPATH Course Catalog [live link]  to access current course descriptions. At that point, you will be leaving the University Bulletin website.”

–Visitors to the lead page from University Course Descriptions button in both Bulletins ( http://bulletins.psu.edu/undergrad/courses/ and http://bulletins.psu.edu/graduate/courses/ ) will be advised that “Course descriptions are stored in LionPATH, the University-wide student information system. Please select the link to the left to view current course descriptions. Once you select the link, you will be leaving the University Bulletin website.”

–All links to specific Penn State courses, on any pages, on any sites at Penn State or externally, will take the user directly to the LionPATH course catalog. Nothing needs to be done on the external sites for this to work, it happens on the Bulletins server.

–In all cases, links to the LionPATH course information will land on the Browse Course Catalog page. It is not possible to link to individual courses due to the way the Course Catalog is constructed.

These are the only changes being made to the Bulletins which continue to serve as the source for undergraduate and graduate program requirements including associate, baccalaureate, graduate, intercollege, and minor programs.
