Just ask the thousands of visitors that descended upon Happy Valley for the first two Spend a Summer Day events – not only did they have beautiful days to visit, but they learned about all things Penn State and really got a sense of what life on campus is like.
Touring campus, visiting residence halls, eating in the dining commons, learning about future majors from representatives in our academic colleges, taking pictures with the Nittany Lion, eating ice cream from the Creamery … the list of amazing experiences could go on and on – and there is still time to register for a visit! We still have space at University Park for the remaining three dates: Thursday, August 1; Friday, August 2; and Monday, August 5; or check our registration page to see available dates for other campuses.
If you’re curious, or you already visited and want to relive it over again, take a look at the pictures our visitors, students, and staff have shared of Spend a Summer Day on Instagram (via Hashgr.am) or Facebook.
We hope you will join us for a Spend a Summer Day event because it really is one of the best ways to learn about Penn State and everything it has to offer. But if a summer visit to a Penn State campus doesn’t work for you, start planning a visit for the fall (it will be here before you know it). Whether it is this summer or sometime later this year, we can’t wait to see you on campus!
