Fall semester is well underway! This means we’re seeing a lot of prospective students on campus, as well as lots of students on the road at college fairs all across the globe. But, if you’re not able to manage meeting with us in person, we have a great alternative…online chats!
Each year beginning in October the Undergraduate Admissions Office hosts online chats, both for domestic students and for international students. We invite prospective students for the upcoming academic year to join us online and ask questions about student life, majors, campuses, the weather in Pennsylvania—anything and everything! Admissions counselors, academic advisers, and student volunteers are happy to answer your questions and help you get to know Penn State better.
Our first international chat will take place on Tuesday, October 29. We’ll be chatting at two separate times that day. Check out our admissions page for chats for details about the specific times of the chat: http://www.admissions.psu.edu/info/chats/. Login details will be provided just before the chat begins.
We’ll host more chats (approximately once a month) for the remainder of the academic year. We invite you to chat with us as many times as you like. If you can’t make it to one of our chats, we are always available to answer your questions at firstname.lastname@example.org, or weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST at (814) 865-5471.
Please note that the online application for Fall 2014 is now available on our website. You can find helpful information about applying as an international student here: http://www.admissions.psu.edu/info/future/international/index.cfm.
We hope to see you online!
