Okay let me start off with the big news that I am sure you already know if your a true Eagles fan and that is Sam Bradford has been traded to the Minnesota Vikings for a first and fourth round pick in 2016-2017 NFL draft being held in Philadelphia. That’s right no more Bradford and trust me I know what your thinking thank the lord right!? For all the people that believe Bradford isn’t that bad and he gave us the best chance to win well I am sorry to tell you your wrong, that man will never win anything in his football career. So what does that mean for our Philadelphia Eagles, I’ll tell you what is means its the start to our new destiny, Carson Wentz.

The wait is nearly over,  and the question was the trade worth it and do we even have a new franchise quarterback in Wentz  still remains. I cant give you that answers right now but what I can tell you is we don’t have to wait long as Wentz will be starting this Sunday against who else but the Cleveland Browns who traded us their draft pick which lead us on our new path that is Carson Wentz. I know what your thinking the kid is a rookie and unproven but let me lay down the facts. The last time we drafted a quarterback second overall in a draft was in 1999 and who was it, Donovan Mcnabb that’s right our last franchise quarterback. Now I know that has nothing to do with his skill but in college alone Wentz passed for over 5000 yards in only 42 games and another 1000 rushing yards in that time. Although these numbers are not insane they are promising since he barely threw the ball in college. I cant promise this kid will be our hope and savior but I can promise you he has the tools and attitude to be a Philadelphia legend. So Philadelphia fans give the kid a chance, I know  we are desperate for a Championship and yes it has been long awaited but he is a rookie there will be a learning curve for us as fans and as a team.

That all being said we have alot to be excited for, with all this young talent and potential just waiting to be let out and for the first time in awhile the future looks bright for us Eagle fans. As Philadelphia Eagles fans,  we are the most fierce and passionate fans in all of football and  all of the world and together We Bleed Green!
