Megan Czekaj, 2021-2022
Megan is majoring in Plant Science with a focus on crop production and a specialization in Entomology. Along with her work in Weed Science, Megan is the Secretary of the Agronomy Club and is conducting her own research experiment in the Entomology department. When not busy with academics, Megan enjoys being outside as much as possible. In the summer, “Kayaking on the Youghiogheny River is fun, but relaxing and floating down the river is equally enjoyable.” During the winter months, she spends a lot of time skiing at Seven Springs. A very important part of Megan’s life is family. “They are my biggest support system, and we always have a wonderful time together. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them.”
Sydney Haefner, 2021-2022
Sydney is a third year Environmental Resource Management student with a focus on Water Science. Sydney’s educational interests include hydrology and agriculture. Some of her hobbies at Penn State include involvement with Kesem and THON.
Collin Miller, 2022
Collin is an Agricultural Science major with minors in Environmental Soil Science and Environmental Resource Management. Outside of school, his interests are anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, trail running, hiking, and mountain biking.
Ellie Timmins, 2021
Ellie is a biology major focusing on ecology. Ellie is hoping to conduct research for conservation and sustainability efforts throughout her career. In Ellie’s spare time she enjoys taking hikes and sketching wildlife.
Jacob Lobash, 2021
Jacob is a plant science major and enjoys hiking and going for runs his free time.
