My wife, Sheri, and I just finished a pottery class at the Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies at Penn State Mont Alto. It covered everything from throwing pots on the wheel to glazing. It was a lot of fun.I am even thinking of continuing with pottery becoming a member of the pottery coop. There is something very satisfying about creating a useful and decorative item from a simple lump of clay. Here are some pictures.
