Judge’s Comments
This industrial black and white with endless marching figures is riveting. While likely an artistic exhibit–the scale and framing of the shot are perfect–we are hovering above as they march towards and beneath us, we are spared inclusion in the march but but can’t help but be drawn in–who are they, why are they marching, and is this all any of us do?
