Kendall Ceh

Hometown: Mars, PA

Education: I am a junior majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This will be my second semester in the lab!

Research Interests: My involvement in the LifeLink program here at Penn State sparked a particular interest in discovering methods to facilitate effective communication for all individuals, regardless of their unique needs.

Plans/Goals for the Future: I aspire to pursue a career as a speech-language pathologist, specializing in rehabilitation and AAC.

Kevin Lee

Hometown: Taipei, Taiwan

Education: I am a senior majoring in Communication Science and Disorder with a minor in Rehabilitation and Human Service.

Research interest: I’m really interested in dysphasia research, and my involvement in NBASLH also increased my interest in bilingual research.

Plans for the future: I am going to grad school for speech-language pathology and wish to become a medical SLP in the future. 

Bethany Ferguson

Hometown: Phoenixville, Pennsylvania

Education: I am a Senior undergrad majoring in CSD with a minor in HDFS. 

Research Interests: I am really interested in research of different AAC devices and translanguaging after tutoring bilingual students in a nearby area. 

Goals for Future: After completing grad school my goal is to work in an early intervention unit to help children with developmental delays and disabilities that help them reach their full potential.

Caroline Short

Hometown: Lincoln University, Pennsylvania

Education: I am currently an undergraduate in my senior year majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish 

Research Interests: I am interested in research surrounding language and social development in individuals with Autism as well as bilingual language development. 

Current Projects: I recently helped with a qualitative study looking at autistic women and their journey in receiving a diagnosis. 

Plans/Goals for the Future: My goal for the future is to attend graduate school and become a Speech Language Pathologist. 

Sabrina Ferraccio

Hometown: Vandergrift, Pennsylvania 

Education: I am a Junior majoring in CSD and minoring in HDFS.

Research Interests: I am particularly interested in research surrounding children, specifically early intervention and the NICU.

 

Goals for the future: My goal for the future is to attend graduate school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. After that I hope to work in early intervention.
