About Us

The Penn State Student Chapter of Women in Nuclear (WiN) is part of a nationwide organization that supports gender equality in nuclear engineering. Founded in March 2013, the chapter is open to all Penn State students interested in pursuing nuclear science or technology careers.

As an inclusive organization, WiN aims to create an environment where both women and men can succeed in nuclear-related fields. The chapter provides networking opportunities, professional development, and community outreach to make the nuclear industry more accessible to young people.
