Lauren Chuday Gallagher is Vice President of Merchandise Operations supporting Entertainment, Toys & Seasonal at Walmart, Inc with almost 15 years’ experience leveraging the supply chain to help people save money and live better. She is a dynamic leader with a proven ability to consistently exceed expectations through cross functional collaboration, understanding customer needs, building strategic supplier relationships, and setting a clear vision to achieve organizational goals. Lauren has operated in high visibility roles across Merchandising and Merchandise Operations with experience spanning complex departments in both General Merchandise and Fresh.

By leveraging a results focused mindset to combat the impacts of allocation, weather related business complications and compliance restrictions to satisfy customer demand and increase market share, Lauren has put her B.S. in Supply Chain & Information Systems from The Pennsylvania State University (2009) and M.S. in Operations Management from The University of Arkansas (2012) to good use. She was especially proud to lead one of the Produce department’s buying teams when the department earned the prestigious honor of Walmart’s Team of the Year in 2020.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick, also a Smeal Supply Chain Alum, and their young daughter Sloane. They live in Bentonville, Arkansas and love soaking up all the area has to offer.
