A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based artist, Ashley Cecil, hosted an art exhibit on “Deepening Roots: Our Growing Connections to the Botanical World” at The Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at Pittsburgh, PA. Our work on pitcher plant-inspired materials has been featured as one of the beautiful art exhibit.

Dr. Wong gave a speech at the 2015 National Youth Leadership Forum: Engineering & Technology Conference organized by Envision on June 21, 2015 at UC Berkeley. The conference is designed to inspire high school students to pursue science and engineering careers and become future leaders in the fields.

Dr. Wong was invited to speak at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relationships (HPAIR) Annual Conference about Nature-Inspired Engineering!
