Fellow Travelers,

My name is Alana: A world-traveling, cat-loving, french-fry-eating, lively young woman with a keenness for creative writing and fluffy blankets. Throughout my travels, I have pet my fair share of stray cats, eaten one-too-many McDonald’s fries, and written all about it in preparation for starting a blog and sharing it with other young women. As for my love of fluffy blankets? What can I say? I had to pack lightly.

Through Worldly Women, I plan to narrate the pits and the peaks of my adventures as I traveled throughout Hawaii, Japan, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, Mauritius, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco, & Portugal, by ship. My mission is to guide fellow women in their travels.

I was fortunate enough to call the MV World Odyssey (pictured) my floating home for four months of my youth. I studied while on-board and received credits through a cross-cultural education. From the locals I met to the sights I soaked up, travel showed my soul the pure magic that this world holds.

I am confident that the future is bright and it is beautiful for women like you and me. Travel can only make it brighter and even more beautiful, so please join me on my journey. Let’s get worldly like the fierce, unapologetic, and passionate women that we were born to be!

Happy reading and happy traveling!
