Four years ago, Dr. Jiang Xulin committed suicide at his dormitory in Shanghai. I had met him for two or three times during studying at Hong Kong. However, we did’t meet each other when we got jobs in Shanghai. He was a pure and integrity intellectural who was devoted  to his ideal world. He was a martyr of his faith. R. I. P., Dr. Jiang!
