NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)
The NaNoWriMo website is a place for writers to gather online in November and to try to write 50,000 words (minimum novel length) in one month. This allows them to encourage each other while it emphasizes the importance of just writing.
The subreddit for writing is actually an incredibly widespread and useful community. The forum provides information on “important matters for writers, news affecting writers, and the finer aspects of writing.”
